10/16/05 | Live Appearance I will be giving a live appearance in Half Moon Bay with The Visionary Edge who present "Transformative Arts & Media - Inspiring Millions to Create a Wiser, More Compassionate World" for a showing of my video "Creating the World of Our Dreams." This will be in conjunction with a screening of the Spiritual Cinema movie, "Coral Sea Dreaming." "Coral Sea Dreaming" was created by Emmy Award-winning cinematographer David Hannan, who spent years filming Australia`s Great Barrier Reef, recording its exotic beauty before it is destroyed. Without a single word (the film has no dialogue), simply using the evocative power of images and music, Hannan has produced a forceful indictment of human carelessness about our environment. This is a masterpiece of visual art combined with haunting, hypnotic music, and is a "beautiful, beautiful film," according to National Geographic magazine. It is also a dramatic commentary on the relationship between humans and nature. Location: The Depot (by the Johnson House) Address: Higgins Purisima Road, Half Moon Bay. Time: Doors open 7:00pm, film at 7:30pm, Saturday, October 22. Tickets: $10 in advance or $15 at the door. For more information: Call 650-560-0200. Directions:(I believe the directions are: From the Bay Area, take Hwy 92 West to Hwy 1, turn Left, then go down a couple of miles past the light to the end of town, and Higgins Purisima Rd will be on your left - but call to be sure of directions.) more... |

3/26/04 | Help our schools to get what they need. Our kids need to have all the right tools and support to insure a good education. It seems that this is not one of the higher priorities for the government. Not only have they been cutting funding for schools, and approving funds for non essential projects, but their other excuse for not having enough money for the schools, the budget crises, is not being resolved fast enough. I am offering everyone an opportunity to do something about this right now by offering my music to raise funds directly for the schools.

3/23/04 | Kristine fundraising to help a long time friend cope with cancer costs. Shanja is a long time friend who has dedicated her life to her spiritual calling and has helped so many people on their spiritual journey. Many times as a child I recall her radiant energy welcoming me into her home and circle. Now a call has gone out to her spiritual family to help her in her time of need. A friend has said, "What we give is what we receive." In return for all that I have received, I am pledging my support.

3/18/04 | Helping to keep the libraries strong! I am doing a fundraiser to support the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library. The School of Performing Arts and Cultural Education has a mission to "empower our youth to discover and trust in their innate ability to be creative, responsible, and compassionate individuals." 3/8/04 | The last continuously wild herd of buffalo needs our help! I am doing a fundraiser to help save these Buffalo. The proceeds go to an amazing grassroots group, the Buffalo Field Campaign, that keeps constant watch on the Yellowstone bison, which is a real part of our natural American heritage. The park, with our tax dollars, has been capturing them, holding them in captivity, vaccinating them, and slaughtering them. The story of these beautiful creatures is sad and it is very important that we support this group, which defends them and their habitat, as well as documenting every action against them. Their website gives actions you can take from emails or phone calls, to offering collection jars to support their simple and frugal operation. Please add your voice by taking action now. more... |
3/3/04 | Measure H wins! Mendocino bans the growing of genetically altered crops & animal It is a great feeling to participate in democracy, fly in the face of corporate power, and come out victorious. Mendocino County voters defeated the world?s largest producers of genetically engineered foods and seed, which pumped a record $621,000 into a county of 47,000 voters. In addition, Mendocino County?s victory is part of a coast-to-coast act of defiance against the corporate stranglehold of America?s farmland, as farmers from California to Vermont, Maine and Hawaii and the Midwest band together to reject genetically altered crops. However, those corporate powers have threatened to pass legislation in the state that would make our ban illegal, though 13 other counties to date are wanting to pass a similar ban, joining the 87 countries that are also against genetically altered crops and animals. Vigilance. If you want to know how to get involved, send me a note and I will put you on the virtual path to protecting our food!

1/20/04 | Kristine supporting Measure H with her CD! Measure H would make Mendocino County GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) free. Many countries (about 87) have taken this step, and it may mean more to our survival than anyone is talking about! (The opponents to this are really underhanded. They drove by at 2 in the morning and stole the "Yes on H" signs right from my yard - I happened to be up! They did this twice. Added to that, they send out mailings masquerading as the Democratic Party, local newspaper, or various Universities misleading people about who is against H and how they should vote!!) 12/21/03 | Kristine stops by a healing community to offer fundraising aid. On my way to Lake Tahoe, I stopped by a community whose goal is to develop a sustainable community sharing personal resources and skills, and to maintain a conscious village that is focused on cross cultural, spiritual, and healing practices. The community is dedicated to the highest development of individuals, their families, and the next seven generations. I offered aid to support their multi faceted approach to addressing many of the issues that I feel challenge our world at this time.

When we entered, there were the Gold records for The Beatles and everyone else! There was a worthy aspiration. The wonderful people at Capitol Records then put the finishing touches on the recordings!
